Explanation:
A = L + B
Ar = 15 x 12
15 x 12 = 180 ft^2
1 1/3 = 4/3 feet
At = (4/3)^2
At = 16/9 ft^2
Number of tiles that are needed to cover the floor is
n= Ar
n= 180x9/16
n= 101.25
Approximately 102 tiles needed to cover the entire floor.
