Answer: 60 m/s

Explanation: If the bus is traveling at 50 m/s, and it accelerates uniformly at 5m/s for 2 seconds, that means it gained 5 m/s for every second it accelerated. We know both the rate the bus accelerated at and how long it accelerated for. All you have to do to solve this problem is figure out how much speed the bus gained and then add that to the original speed. 5*2=10, so the bus gained 10 m/s during 2 seconds of acceleration. 50+10=60, so the bus is now traveling at 60 m/s.
