This morning my parents woke me up and said we were going on a safari! I was so excited that I jumped out of bed and ran to my closet to put on my explorer hat and grabbed my binoculars before running out the door. We got in our jeep and drove to where we would meet our safari guide. He was a very tall man with a scruffy beard and a hat like mine! We started our adventure and the first stop was to see the zebras. I grabbed my camera out of my bag and started taking pictures of the timid, stripped animals. We continued driving to our next stop where we witnessed a huge giraffe eating leaves off of a tall tree! It’s purple tongue really stood out and the safari guide gave us some leaves to feed it. One giraffe walked over to us and ate the leaves right out of my hand! The last stop on our tour was to see the lions. We came to a slow and steady stop as to not startle the beasts and my whole family gasped in amazement. We took out our cameras, shot some pictures and saw as the lion walked proudly in the tall, flowing grass. When I finally got home I looked at all of the pictures I had taken and pinned them on my wall. I can’t wait until I get to go on another safari adventure!

Jack and his friends were in Africa. This was their last day. They were going to see Jack's mom. They went in the car. On the way Jack saw a lion. "Look at that lion" said Jack. They got out their camera's and took photos of the lion. They looked up info about the lion on their phone. When they looked up of their phone. The lion was gone. It disappeared into thin air. They send their photos to National Geographic and they paid Jack because they needed one badly and used it in a article they made.
