An angle measures 61.2° more than the measure of its complementary angle. What is the measure of each angle?

Answer: 75.6, 14.4

Explanation:

Note 2 angles are complementary if they adds up to 90 degrees. Lets set x to be the first angle.

x - (x - 61.2) = 90

Then we can know:

2x = 90 + 61.2;

2x = 151.2;

x = 75.6

Now we know the first angle is 75.6, we know the second angle is 75.6 - 61.2 = 14.4. Hope you find this helpful!
