Explanation:

First, divide the

Area÷side length given

5.612×10^14 ÷ 9.2×10^7

You can divide the 5.612÷9.2 on a calculator and pair it up with 10^7 (subtract exponents when dividing) this will be

.61×10^7 This is the short side...technically its not in scientific notation.

But we'll add two each of the length and width to find the perimeter. OR add up the length and width and then times by two.

9.2×10^7 + .61×10^7

= 9.81×10^7 (we can just add the front numbers bc the 10^7 is the same in both pieces)

Then times 2.

19.62×10^7 BUT this is not in scientific notation. So to fix, we move the decimal and adjust the exponent.
