Should refusing to give up your mobile phone passcode be protected under the self-incrimination clause of the fifth amendment? Why or why not?

Answer: Not necessarily (but sometimes so it's pretty 50/50)

Explanation: The Fifth Amendment protects Americans from self-incrimination, including the well-known right to remain silent. But the courts remain split on whether this applies to device passcodes.
