-2x + 11 = 15
First we want to get rid of the addition. so we’ll SUBTRACT (you use the opposite sign) 11 from both sides. That’s gives us:
-2x=4
Now, using opposite signs we will divide both sides by -2, which gives us:
x = -2
Your answer is x = -2

Explanation:
-2x = 15-11
-2x = 4
