Answer: No solution

Explanation:

Line a: y = -x + 6

Line b: x + y = 20 isolate y in this (subtract x to do it)

y = 20 - x we can take this and make line a's y equal line b's so

20 - x = -x +6 now we add x on both sides and subtract 6 on both

0 = 14 this cannot happen so their is no solution

we can also think in terms of the slope, for both line a and b the slope is -1 and that would make the lines parallel to each other since their y-intercepts (6 and 20) are at different points / / so the lines will never cross each other
