To find X and the Y
First set it equal to each other
3x-7=4x-7
Then distribute
so your trying to get x by itself, so you have to eliminate unnecessary stuff. you can start by subtracting 3x from one side and doing it to the other.
*whatever u do to one side u have to do to the other*

3x-7=4x-7
-3x -3x
——————-
-7=1x -7

(1x can also be written as just x)
Then try to get rid of the -7 on the right side. to get rid of it you would have to add 7

-7= x -7
+7 +7
——————
0 = x

X equals to 0

To find y, plug in your x to the equation

y=3(0) -7

y= -7
