Find the measure of x for the third angle of a right triangle if the measure of one angle is 25 degrees and the third angle is 3x+5 degrees.

Answer:

20 degrees

Explanation:

The triangle is right-angled, so one angle's got to be 90 degree.
Given to us, the other angle is 25 degree,
So, the third angle is 180 - (90 + 25)
= 65 degrees
Also, the third angle is 3x + 5 degree = 65
So, x = (65 - 5)/3 = 20 degrees
