{a}^(2) + {b}^(2) = {c}^(2)

A and B are your two smaller numbers, and they would have to equal your largest.


{6}^(2) + {8}^(2) = {12}^(2)

Solving this problem


36 + 64

That equals 100

We would next find the square root of 100


√(100) = 10

10 does not equal 12, your biggest number. So this does NOT form a right triangle.
