length=224 yards

let:

Width=x

length= x*4= 4x

perimeter = 2*x + 2*4x

working


(x * 2) + (4x * 2) = 560


2x + 8x = 560


10x = 560


(10x)/(10) = (560)/(10)


x = 56


4x = 56 * 4 = 224

width =56 yards

length = 224 yards
