l^(2) -5l


l^(2)-5l= 24


l^(2)-5l-24=0

FACTORISE

(l+3)(l-8)

l= -3 or +8

Length is positive therefore, l= 8

width = l-5

width = 8-5=3

width = 3

perimeter = 2(l+b)

perimeter = 2(8+3)

perimeter = 22
