Answer:

x = 8, y = 1

Explanation:

11x - 20y = 28 ...(1)
3x + 4y = 36
or 15x + 20y = 180 ...(2)
Adding (1) and (2),
26x = 208
Or x = 8
Now, 3x + 4y = 36
3(8) + 4y = 36
4y = 36 - 32 = 4
so y = 1
