Explanation:

to find slope just choose any two points on the line and subtract them. I prefer choosing points that lie on the grid for instance in #11

I will choose Point 1: (4,3) and Point 2: (1,-1) because the intersect the grid and I can do 'clean' subtractions.

Slope = rise/run

= change in y/change in x

= y2-y1/x2-x1

= ( -1 - 3 ) / ( 1 - 4 )

= - 4 / -3

= 4/3
