Answer:

\huge\boxed{\sf Time = 18.5\ minutes}

Explanation:

Formula to be used:

Time = Distance / Speed

Distance:

Using the normal speed and time, we will first find the distance to her friends house.

Distance = Speed × Time

Here,

Speed = 50 km/h

Time = 24 minutes / 60 = 0.4 hours

So,

Distance = 50 × 0.4

Distance = 20 km

Now, finding time when the speed is 65 km/h.

So,

Time = Distance / Speed

Time = 20 km / 65 km/hr

Time = 0.31 hour

To convert it into minutes, we multiply it by 60.

So,

Time = 0.31 × 60

Time = 18.5 minutes

\rule[225]{225}{2}
