Explanation:

the area (A) of a circle is calculated as

A = πr² ( r is the radius )

here the diameter = 84.2 , then r = 84.2 ÷ 2 = 42.1 , then

A = π × 42.1² = π × 1772.41 ≈ 5568.2 cm² ( to 1 decimal place )
