Answer:

point-slope form: y - 3 = 2(x+8)

slope-int form: y = 2x + 19

Explanation:

For slope-int form, find the slope of the line.

7-3 / -6-(-8) = 4/2 = 2

This becomes y = 2x + b

To find b: plug in a y-coordinate for the y in the equation and plug in an x-coordinate for the x

7 = 2(-6) + b

7 = -24/2 + b

7 = -12 + b

7 + 12 = -12 + 12 +b

19 = b

The final equation is: y = 2x + 19
