your Comparison Contrast Essay. You will have to have a topics and a clear criterion to compare your
topics. Answer the following questions to help you choose your topics. Make sure each answer is a full
sentence.
1. What subjects social or world events currently do you have strong views about or follow in the media?
2. What historical or present world leaders or local leaders within our state could you evaluate their ability
as a leader past or present?
3. In popular culture what film, tv series, performer, etc. could you compare and contrast to emphasize
distinctions between them or parallels? Ex. An excellent example of comparing crime films would be
Gangs of New York and The Godfather.
4. What kinds of criteria could you measure and conduct research to support for one of your answers for
questions 1-3?
