This decision proclaims that all refugees must have a hearing to decide whether the refugee can stay in Canada or not. But before a refugee has a court hearing tax payers in Canada have to pay for the refugees while they stay in Canada. Also the Singh decision was made by the supreme court.
The Singh decision reflects a development in individual rights because the individual rights clause states that "everyone in Canada has the right to life, liberty and security of a person" which means that individual rights applies to anyone in Canada.
The First Nation's perspective of immigration is that Canada fails to address First Nation's need but manages to address the needs for refugees and immigrants and also that Canada fails to consult with the assembly of First Nation's on immigration policies and legislation.
