To find the perimeter of a sector we first need to find the perimeter of the circle using the 2 x pie x radius formula and substituting the radius in.

2 x 7 x 3.142 = 43.988

Then to find times that by the angle over 360 to get the circumference of the sector.

43.988 x 90/360 = 10.997

Then we need to add the two sides on to get the total perimeter

10.997 + 7 + 7 = 24.997

Therefore, 24.997 is the total perimeter of the sector

Answer:

P = 24.997 cm

Explanation:

the perimeter (P) is the sum of the 2 radii and the arc

the arc length is calculated as

arc = circumference of circle × fraction of circle

= 2πr ×
(90)/(360) ( r is the radius , here r = 7 )

= 2 × 3.142 × 7 ×
(1)/(4)

= 43.988 ÷ 4

= 10.997 cm

Then

P = 10.997 + 7 + 7 = 24.997 cm
