Perimeter is the sum of length of all the sides.

The 2 sides on the left (the shorter ones) are equal. Let x = short side:

3² + 4² = 25 = x²

x = √25 = 5

The 2 sides on the right (the longer ones) are equal. Let y = long side:

3² + 6² = 45 = y²

y = √45 = 6.71

P = 2x + 2y = 2(5) + 2(6.71) = 23.4
