if a and b are both positive integers then 26+10=36 and since a+26=b^2 if you do the squareroot of b which is 36 you get 6. So, 10+26=6^2

so a and b are positive integer

so when we put the all options in place of a one by one in equation we will get

a+26=b²

10+26= b²

b=√36

b= 6

so a must be 10.
