x = 15º

Explanation:

you see they are complementary angles in a straight line (180º), so:

6x - 5 + 6x + 5 = 180

12x = 180

x = 180 / 12

x = 15

And 6x - 5 is not equal 6x + 5 and will never be, I don't know where you got that from.
