Answer: The candle will take 16.5 cm of wax to burn out.

Explanation:

The candle will take 22 - 5.5 = 16.5 cm of wax to burn out.

At the same rate, if the candle burned for 11 minutes and the remaining length was 5.5 cm, it will take 11 * (22/5.5) = 44 minutes to burn out.
