4. ___ C6H14 + ____ O2 ----> ____ CO2 + ____ H2O

Isn't the answer to this equation
1, 19, 6, 7?
My tutor didn't give me a full explanation because of time but she said it was big numbers with 37, 62 etc. I don't see why it can't be 1, 19, 6, 7.

The balanced chemical equation for the combustion of hexane (C6H14) with oxygen is as follows:

6 C6H14 + 19 O2 -> 12 CO2 + 14 H2O

So the answer is 6, 19, 12, 14. The coefficients in the balanced equation represent the stoichiometric ratio of the reactants and products, which must be whole numbers to satisfy the law of conservation of mass.
