If 7 in every 9 packets of crisps in a box are salt and vinegar, then 9-7 = 2 packets of crisps in a box are plain.

If there are 63 packets of salt and vinegar in the box, then 63 packets / 7 = 9 groups of 9 packets in the box.

So, 9 groups * 2 plain crisps = 18 packets of plain crisps in the box.
