Answer: C=7
Distribute the 9 to the 4 and c, giving you:
(36+9c)=99
You would then subtract 36 from both sides giving you :
9c=63
Then divide 9 from both sides giving you:
C=7

To solve for c, you can simplify the left side of the equation first: 9(4 + c) = 94 + 9c = 36 + 9c = 99
Then you can subtract 36 from both sides: 9c = 63
Finally, divide both sides by 9 to get c = 7
So, c = 7
