Explain how you know your answer is reasonable.

Georgia works as a florist. She has 93 roses to arrange
in vases. Each vase holds 6 roses. How many roses will
Georgia have left over?

Answer:

3 roses

Explanation:

There are 93 roses, and each vase holds 6 roses. 93/6 = 15.5 So 15*6 = 90

If 90 roses are left and the remaining 3 cannot fill one vase which is 6 roses, that means that 3 roses are left.

Hi so the answer would be 15 and 3 roses will be left over.
To solve it you would simply divide 93 by 6 (93 roses in to 6 vases) and get 15 r3
