since there is no b, the y-intercept is 0. The line with cross the point (0,0)

your problem is f(x) = x/1

x/1 is equal to 1x/1.

to graph linear functions, you do rise over run (rise/run)

in this case, you rise (go up) one unit, and run (go right) one unit since your digits are 1 and 1
