8th grade math please help me

Dalton works as a waiter. He earns $5.50 per hour plus tips. During
his shift, he receives $48.25 in tips and earns a total of $103.25.

If H represents the hours worked, write an equation for this situation,
then determine the number of hours Dalton worked.

103.25 = 5.5+48.25h; 2 hours
103.25 = 53.75h; 2 hours
103.25= 48.25-5.5h, 10 hours
103.25 = 5.5h + 48.25; 10 hours

Answer:103.25 = 5.5h + 48.25; 10 hours (4th option)

Step-by-step explanation: we know that....h is for the hrs and 5.50 is how much he gets in those hrs .

h=5.50

we also now know he earns 48.25 in tips (that is just tips we dont know how many hrs he worked and made we just know the tips ) so now have a equation .

103.25 (the total all together)

48.25(his tips)

5.50h(how much he gets payed for working in the hrs )

103.25=5.5h+48.25;10 hrs

and we know that is the answer when we solve it and put it in a graphing calculator ....
