1.68 across from x because we want that new %

We start by cross multipling

1.52x = (1.68)(100)

1.52x = 168

Next we divide by 1.52 on both sides of the equal sign to get x alone

x = 110.5%

Now he's at 110.5%

We simply subtract the percent

110.5-100 = 10.5
