Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Geographically, China and Eastern US have many similarities. They occupy eastern parts of their respective continents on roughly similar latitudes. Climates of both regions have a lot in common: - both have a large amplitude in temperature between seasons, with hot humid summers and cold winters - both are humid in the summer, with ample precipitation - humidity and rainfall taper off as one goes west Most differences result from Asia being a much larger continent than North America, allowing a very stable high pressure system to form. This makes winters cold and dry. In the US, winters are wetter, snowier and somewhat warmer. Again because North America is much smaller, there is no monsoon that is typical of east Asia. Also China does not have an equivalent of our Gulf of Mexico to draw moisture from. In practical terms, China's climate is somewhat more continental. Also, in contrast to the American South, southeastern China is very cloudy, with some places averages as few as 1000 hours of annual sunshine. Northern China is, ironically, sunnier but its winters are very cold for their latitude. All in all, I prefer the climate of eastern US
