Answer:

y = -1/2x - 3

Explanation:

Slope intercept form is y = mx+b

y = function

mx = slope

b = y- intercept

You find mx by doing (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

Using all this information...

The y intercept is where the line cross at X=0. On this graph, it crosses at y= -3

For slope. We pick two obvious points. let's choose (2,-4) and (-2, -2)

Plugging the slope equation in from above

(-2 - (-4))/(-2-2)

Simplifying... (2)/(-4), also known as -1/2

Now that we have everything, we can make our equation

y = -1/2x - 3
