Buddhism is a good example of religion cultural diffusion. It reached China, due to cultural diffusion as it was favoured by the merchants along the silk roads, and therefore, was able to extend into China. Buddhism would be met with its patrons, as well harsh critics.

cultural diffusion

Step-by-step explanation:

Buddhism is a wonderful case study in the cultural diffusion of religion. As a result of cultural transmission brought about by the favoritism of the traders who traveled the silk ways, it was able to spread throughout China.
