Answer:

Formula for

the perimeter of square = 4side eq 1

area of square = (side)² eq2

Explanation:

1 2m 10 cm ( 210cm)

the perimeter of this square = 4 × side

4× 210cm = 840 cm (8m40cm)

the area of this square = side ×side

210 cm ×210 cm = 44100 cm square

or 4.41 meter square

1 side 5 m

the perimeter of this square = 4 × side

4×5m=20m

the area of this square = side ×side

5m×5m=25meter square

(i) 4.2 cm

the perimeter of this square = 4 × side = 4×4.2cm=16.8cm

the area of this square = side ×side= 4.2 cm ×4.2cm = 17.64 cm square

(iv) 250 mm

the perimeter of this square = 4 × side = 4×250mm =1000mm

the area of this square = side ×side= 250mm ×250mm =62500 mm sq.
