3. Mrs. Jones put 7 red crayons and 5 blue crayons in Box A. She put 4 black crayons and 5 white crayons in Box B. How many fewer crayons are in Box B than in Box A?​

Box B has 3 fewer

Steps:
Box A has 12 crayons, as 7+5=12.
Box B has 9 crayons, as 4+5=9.
To find how many fewer Box B has, you subtract the 9 from 12, which leaves you with 3. ->. 12-9=3
