from 1 we can say that

x=1-2y

sub on equation (1) we get

4-8y+8y=5

for sure we can say that 4 not equal to 5 at any cost,

So the option A)equation has no solution. :(

There is no solution. You can either graph this or solve it using elimination or substitution. I used substitution to isolate x in the first equation, 5x+10y=5, which is x= -2y+1. Then I substituted the x in 4x+8y=5 and solved to get 4=5, which is a false statement.
