Your Majesty King George III,

I am writing to you as a humble colonist living in the Americas. I understand that the British Empire is in need of revenue, but the taxes and acts imposed on the colonies, such as the Navigation Act, Stamp Act, and Tea Act, are causing financial strain on myself and my fellow colonists. These acts not only increase the cost of necessary goods, but also limit our ability to trade and conduct business.

Furthermore, the Quartering Acts and the Proclamation of 1763 unjustly restrict our ability to settle and expand in the land that we have worked hard to cultivate. I understand the need for control and order, but these acts are causing resentment and unrest among the colonists.

I humbly request that you consider the consequences of these acts on the colonists and consider lessening the burden on us by either reducing taxes, or removing the acts that are causing financial hardships and limiting our ability to thrive.
