The Electoral College

HELP HELP HELP HELP HELP!!

Twice in recent history, the electoral college and not the popular vote determined the outcome of a Presidential election. First, why might this be upsetting to people? Second, think back to the purpose of the electoral college. Was the Electoral College just fulfilling its purpose?

Answer: This was upsetting to people because the electoral college was designed to make elections equal and fair for the people. So when a president is elected that a majority of the citizens don’t want it feels as though the Electoral College was not fulfilling its true purpose.
