Using the point slope form of a line:
Y - y1 = m(x - x1)
Y - (-7) = -1/8(x-9)
Y + 7 = -1/8 x + 9/8
Y = -1/8 x + 9/8 -7
Y = -1/8 x - 47/8
This is the slope intercept form
And the y intercept
Is at (0, -47/8).
