The answer should be 20. He has made it in the right way. But there is a mistake in the previous answer. It should be corrected like this, 2x = 30 + 10

So the answer is x=20

Answer:

Explanation:

2(x-5)=9-3x+6+8+3x+7

2x-10=9-3x+14+3x+7 {Adding the constant no.s +6 and +8}

2x-10=30-3x+3x {Adding all the constants +14 , +7, +9}

2x-10=30-0 {+3x and -3x cancels out}

2x-10=30

2x=30-10 {coefficient with variable i.e 2x on one side}

2x=20 {20 divides by 2 if we bring coefficient 2 to right side}

x=10 Ans
