Grapes at Publix cost $4.50 for 6.2 pounds. How much would it cost for one pound of grapes?

6.2 pounds of grapes cost $4.50, the first thing youd need to do is to represent that in an equation so lets say 6.2p=$4.50
Which would be our equation 1
Then the question then asks us to find the price of one, so we represent that in an equation too where 1p=x
X being the value that we’re looking for

Now you could do a simultaneous equation but thats just extra stress

What i’d do is just simply divide 4.50 by 6.2 to get the price for one
