I can give you the basic rules.

always remember the order of operations :

1. brackets

2. exponents

3. multiplications and divisions

4. additions and subtractions

a fraction is a division.

e.g. 2/3 = 2 divided by 3

e.g. (a/b)⁵ = a⁵/b⁵

(a×b)⁵ = a⁵×b⁵

e.g. a^-b = 1/(a^b)

e.g. a^(c/b) =


\sqrt[b]{ {a}^(c) }

I think that is all about exponents and fractions.
