Jody and her friend Sandra decided to try out for the girls' basketball team at school. Later, however, Sandra tells Jody that she has changed her mind. Sandra is embarrassed to shower and change in the locker room because she's developing at a slower pace than most of the other girls. Some of the girls have teased her and she feels self-conscious.

Sandra, I understand that you're feeling self-coscious about developing at a different pace than some of the other girls on the basketball team. But please know that you're not alone in this. Manone develops at their own pace. If basketball is something that you're still interested in, I'll be there to support you and help you through it
