Length= 7 + 3width
Perimeter= 126
Let width= W
Length = L
Equation form,
2L + 2W = 126
Sub L = 7+3W into eq above
2(7+3W) +2W = 126
14 + 6W + 2W = 126
14 + 8W = 126
8W = 112
W = 14
Then,
Sub W=14 into L=7+3W
L=7+3(14)
L=7+42
L= 49

Answer,
Width=14 inches
Length = 49 inches
