Answer: slope =
(1)/(4) x

point on the line= (0,-4.25)

Explanation:

y+3\\ =
(1)/(4) (x-5)

y=(1)/(4) x-(5)/(4) -3\\\\y= (1)/(4)x -3(5)/(4) \\\\y=(1)/(4)x -(17)/(4)

therefore the value with the x is the gradient so the gradient (slope) is
(1)/(4) x

since the y-intercept is
-(17)/(4)\\ get the simplified version in decimals which is -4.25... so the point will be (0,-4.25)
