The domain is the set of all x-values (or inputs) used by the function. In a graph like this, you want to see how the graph lines up with the x-axis.

As an interval, the domain is [-4,-1], as shown on the domain graph.
(Remember to write intervals from lesser-to-greater.)

The range is the set of all y-values (or outputs) used by the function. In a graph like this, you want to see how the graph lines up with the y-axis.

As an interval, the range is [-4,-2].
(Again, remember to write intervals from lesser-to-greater.)
