Find the slope of the line that goes through the points (0, 9) and (-2, -4).

Answer is 13/2 slope

Step by step

Slope is rise (up or down) over run (left or right)

Slope can be found using the formula
y2 - y1 over x2 - x1

-4 -9 over -2 -0

-13 over -2 = -13/-2 or 13/2 slope

You can also find slope by graphing the two points and finding rise over run like I did in the attachment
