Imagine we have two of these chambers. In chamber A we turn the carbon dioxide valve all the way up. In chamber B we only provide half as much carbon dioxide as the first chamber. We also make sure to water both plants whenever they appear to be low on water. What do you expect the results of our experiment to be?

A. The plant in Chamber B will grow at a much faster rate than the plant in Chamber A

B. The plant in Chamber A will grow at a much faster rate than the plant in Chamber B

C. The flow of oxygen in Chamber A will be lower than the flow of oxygen in Chamber B

D. The plant in Chamber B will need to be watered more often than the plant in Chamber A

Answer: B

Explanation: Plants need co2 to produce g3p witch is half of a glucose molecule through the Calvin cycle witch is annoyingly complicated so i will not go over it here. But by having more co2 they can produce more food (glucose) and in turn grow faster larger and live longer.
